Meet our Menopause Doctor
Dr Eloise Elphinstone
Dr Elphinstone has been a GP in Southwest London for the last seven years and has always had a particular interest in women’s health. Before settling in London, she spent a year doing obstetrics and gynaecology in Perth, Western Australia, which she loved and sparked her passion for women’s health. She holds the diploma in family planning and obstetrics and gynaecology and is a coil and implant fitter at her current GP practice. Dr Elphinstone is also interested in lifestyle medicine and tries to incorporate this into her practice.
More recently, Dr Elphinstone has been developing her knowledge of the perimenopause and menopause phases in a women's life. This can be a really challenging time and she believes it is important to have support and guidance through this potentially difficult period.
Dr Elphinstone is a member of the British Menopause Society and is currently completing her Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care. She also works for a specialist NHS menopause service.
Her aim is to provide individualised, holistic care to all her patients.
