Life continues even in these trying times, which means births and babies and beautiful new mothers needing our care and support. If you are struggling at home, do not hesitate to book an online Pregnancy, Post-natal MOT or Menopause MOT.
To help you to cope at home, here are some of our top tips:

- Squeezy app is a great app to start your pelvic floor muscle training, if you haven’t got it, download it today, If you are not sure how to activate or if you have any bladder or bowel problems, do seek help of a Women’s Health Physio. If you just have had your baby, start gentle and always take your time to let go fully in between activating your pelvic floor muscles
- Pelviva is a single use, disposable pelvic floor muscle re-trainer that uses a specially developed stimulation programme to treat weak pelvic floor muscles that cause bladder leakage in women. We recommend to start using this product under the guidance of a women's health physio. Whilst we are in lockdown, it is an effective way of connecting you up with your pelvic floor muscles and we can direct you online how to use it. The pelviva exercises your pelvic floor muscles to prevent bladder leaks when you laugh, sneeze, cough or exercise and to help you hold on when you urgently need the toilet. It is not instead of your pelvic floor muscle exercises, it is a useful to combine with your own activation; another tool in the box!
There are lots of gadgets on the market, as part of your Pregnancy, Post-natal & Menopause MOT we will advise you which gadget maybe helpful for you, this can range from electro stimulation to a pessary for some support.
