Holly's training was primarily in person-centered and psychodynamic therapy but along with that, also has the knowledge and experience in Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and Systemic work. She is also trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) - a mindfulness based behavioural therapy using acceptance and mindfulness strategies that increases psychological flexibility and encourages an individual to behave in a way consistent to their life values.
She has previously worked at Addiction Support Care Agency (ASCA) for adults with issues around addiction and substance misuse as well as supporting and working with their carers/family members.
Holly will work with adults, as well as teens and pre-teens from the age of 11 - especially around challenges they may experience attending school since the covid pandemic, helping managing their anxieties around this. She has worked in a school for children and young adults with ASD, and also work with adults who are newly diagnosed or planning a diagnosis for ASD.
