Sal graduated from Brunel University with a Physiotherapy BSc (Hons) degree and went on to work initially in the NHS for a number of years in a variety of departments. In 2015 she moved to the private sector to continue her journey as a specialist Physiotherapist.
An accomplished and evidence-based practitioner, Sal brings substantial experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, complemented by a deep passion for women's and pelvic health. Known for her dynamic, motivated, and enthusiastic approach, she excels in clinical assessment and evaluation, ensuring individualised, high-quality patient care.
Over the years, Sal uses a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture, exercise prescription as well as education to help her clients achieve their goals. In addition to her physiotherapy qualifications, she is a qualified Pilates teacher, trained by the APPI and is a Level 3 certified Personal trainer.
Sal also has a special interest in pelvic health. She is a certified MummyMOT practitioner and is undertaking a Master’s qualifications at Brunel University as Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Pelvic Health.
With expertise in pelvic health assessments and rehabilitation, Sal specialises in supporting individuals who want to regain an active lifestyle following childbirth or those looking to engage in regular exercise but feel uncertain due to pelvic floor dysfunction. Her approach focuses on education, guided movement, and progressive rehabilitation, helping patients build confidence in their bodies while preventing or managing conditions such as:
- pelvic pain
- urinary incontinence
- bowel incontinence
- pre and post-natal pelvic floor weakness
- abdominal wall seperation (diastasis)
Rooted in a holistic and patient-centred philosophy, Sal is dedicated to fostering a culture of clinical excellence and continuous professional development. By empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools they need, she strives to make exercise and movement accessible, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.
Outside of work, Sal stays active through running, Pilates, and long walks with her dog. In the winter months, she enjoy skiing with her family.
