Women's health hits the road...
Some of you, may already have had the pleasure of meeting one or more of our women's health specialists here at the clinic. Good news, we're starting to venture out of our treatment rooms and pop up at some local events where we can spread the word about all things women's health.
We have some great events coming up for you to join:
On the 10th May, Christien Bird will be linking up with The Really Helpful Club again for two events discussing all things related to the menopause. Join Christien, Nutritionist Jackie Lynch and Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Dr Karen Morton discussing just some of the following:
- Hormonal changes and treatments, in particular HRT
- How nutrition can help you through the menopause
- The effects stress can have on you
- A key exercise programme
- Pelvic floor muscle training
- Sex and the menopause
- Achieving a happy bowel movement
There will be two menopause talks, one in the morning and another in the evening.
Morning event: 10am - 1pm
Evening event: 6.30pm - 9.30pm.
The previous two menopause events have been a huge success, please do not hesitate to book. The sessions are informal, friendly and contain tons of professional information. If you have any questions, click on the link for Caroline's details, she is very happy to help you out. To find out more or book tickets, please click HERE.
And...on the 15th of May we look forward to our first Facebook Live event, with Christien sitting down with specialist Women's Health and Fitness Coach Baz Moffat; discussing everything that you should know about your pelvic floor muscles. Tickets are £15 each, and the talk will start at 8pm and run for 90mins, don't miss out!
We'll hopefully look forward to some of you joining us for either of the events above.
In the meantime, keep up to date with our newsletters or follow us on Facebook as we'll be launching our Women's Health campaign over the next two months. An endless stream of useful information, blogs & videos on topics such as pain during sex, post natal recovery and urinary or bowel incontinence.
Best Wishes,
Women's Health Team.
