Happy April Everyone! I think we may finally be welcoming some lovely warm weather after a long cold winter, fingers crossed it's here to stay!

In light of the warmer weather and many of us undoubtably dusting off our flip flops, we are pleased to welcome a new member to the Podiatry team, Michael Hooper. Michael qualified from Southampton University with a Podiatry degree in 2006. After qualifying, Michael was offered a prestigious position in the local NHS in Southampton where he gained experience in all aspects of podiatry. Michael's main focus is on human movement and analysing people’s gait, concentrating on musculoskeletal conditions. For more information, and appointment availability, please click here. Most of you are aware that Jess is away for the next few weeks; Michael will be happy to see you in Jess' absence.

Keeping with the team, we also welcome physiotherapist Peter Thornton. Peter is kindly looking after Jacqui's patient's whilst she is away in Aus for the next couple of months. Peter qualified from Queensland University in 2013, has 5 years of solid private practice experience in a dynamic and well known clinic in Australia and has worked in the NHS since he has settled in the UK. He is a 'hands on' physio with rehab approach and is a keen sportsman.

A little note from Jacqui herself...

“Wishing all of my patients the best with their injury management and recovery, and sorry that I will not be able to continue your treatment over the next two months. We have luckily found a wonderful replacement whilst I’m away, Peter Thornton, who will be taking over my caseload. Looking forward to seeing you all when I’m back in June”
